It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Helen Vasquez of Brownwood, Texas, born in Meadow, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Josephine Helen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Josephine Helen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her son Arthur Longoria. She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Valencia of California, Tommy Valencia Jr. (Nina), Martin Valencia (Nora) and David Valencia (Melinda); and her uncle Augustin Lopez. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blaylock Funeral Home (1914 Indian Creek Rd, Brownwood, TX 76801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Life Church-Brownwood (901 C C Woodson Rd, Early, TX 76802).
