He is survived by: his wife Martha Castaneda (Coahuila); his children, Erasmo Castaneda of Brownwood, Jasmin Castaneda (Samuel Vasquez) of Early and Jacqueline Galvez (Michael) of Brownwood; his grandchildren, Aidelyn Riquetty, Christian Galvez and Cole Galvez; his mother Feliz Estrada; and his siblings, Anabel Cardenas of Dublin, Alejo Hernandez of Brownwood, Saul Hernandez of Brownwood, Rosa Sierra of Brownwood, Francisco Castaneda of Brownwood, Lydia Fernandez of Brownwood and Pascual Castaneda of Brownwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1105 Main St, Brownwood, TX 76801).
