Though Gerald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeViney and Nana Ruth DeViney (Drumm); and his brother Dennis DeViney. He is survived by: his wife Ida Nell DeViney; his sons, Gary DeViney (Jamie) of Early and Mark DeViney (Tammy) of Kennedale; and his sister-in-law Glenda Hinson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Jones Chapel Cemetery (4356 Co Rd 346, Early, TX 76802).
