He was predeceased by: his father Howard Burleson; his stepmother Faye; his mother Floye Hansen; and his brother Skip Hansen. He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Burleson of Brownwood; and his siblings, Tommy Burleson (Crystal), Pam Clark (Ken) of Decatur, Stephen Hansen (Sharon) of Brownwood, Patricia Bennie (Terry) of Bangs, Cheryl Wilson (Don) of Grapevine and Jimmy Burleson of Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Central Texas Veterans Memorial (American Legion Post 196, c/o Harold Steiver, 1600 Burnet Dr. Brownwood, Texas, 76801) in Edward's memory.
