He is survived by: his wife Celia Ramirez Garza; his daughters, Diane Cardoza, Dorothy Gonzales (Jorge), Deana Cadena, Delisa Perkins and Damasia Garza; his stepsons, Carlos Gamez and Esteban Gamez; his siblings, Renaldo'Boy'Garza, Gloria Rodriguez and Ernestina Gonzales; and his grandchildren, Destiny Quinn, David Cardoza, Zachary Cadena, Zenita Robles, Stephanie Zamora, Ignacio J. Cardoza, Jorge Gonzales Jr., Gerald J. Perkins, Carlos Perkins, Gracelynn Maggie-Rose Reese, Jacob Dobbins, Liam Gamez, Aspen Gamez and Stella Gamez. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownwood Funeral Home (2512 Belle Plain St, Brownwood, TX 76801). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1105 Main St, Brownwood, TX 76801).
