He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Ramsey and Inez Ramsey; and his siblings, Dean, Donnie, Pete, Bill, Boyd Ramsey, Joan Graves, Margaret Pierce and Faye Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Venita Olson; his children, Karen Clemmer (Walt) and Keith Ramsey (Debbie); his grandchildren, Richard Ramsey (Allison), Wesley Ramsey (Brooklyn), Drew Clemmer, Jared Clemmer and Makenna Ramsey; his sisters, Velma Poe of Richmond and LaRue George of Brownwood; and also Jeanette Chew of Avoca, Texas..
