She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Lee Jackson and Edgar Jackson; her husband Johnny Powell Sr.; and her brothers, Edgar Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Alvin Jackson and Donald Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Powell, Jr. of Early, Roy Powell of Cedar Creek, Tommy Powell of Abilene, Larry Powell (Trini) of Cleveland and Janette Waddle (Harold) of May; her daughter-in-law Cathy Powell; and her sons, Donald Powell and Rodger Powell. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (308 N Washington St, Brownwood, TX 76801).
