He was predeceased by: his parents, Raburn Hines and Ruby Hines; his wife Betty Hines; his sister Dixie Hines Smith; and his nephew Steve Helton.
He is survived by: his sons, Billy Wayne (Cathy) of Elkhart, Lonnie (Laura) of Brownwood and Scott (Sherrie) of Elk City, OK; his nieces, Kathy Liedtke (Doug) and Charisse Topper; and his nephew Garrett Helton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
