Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Betty Jo leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allen Nelson; her son Lee Nelson; and her brother-in-law Foster Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Nelson of Spring and Joe Nelson of Brownwood; her granddaughter Sarah Nelson of Spring, TX; her sister Ann Willard of Brownwood; and her sisters-in-law, Sue Gibson and Nan Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
