He is survived by: his wife Catalina Elias; his children, Jorge Antonio Elias (Carla Elias), Edgar Fernando Elias, David Elias and Erika Elias (Favorita); his grandchildren, Jorge Elias, Jairo Elias, Mario Zamorano, Miguel Zamorano, Patricia Zamorano and Briana Galicia; and his siblings, Toribio Elias, Efren Elias, Julia Villa and Felipa Moraida.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
