She was predeceased by: her father Jose Hernandez; her husband Margarito Salazar; her sons, Jose Luis Gonzalez and Oscar Cesar Salazar; her mother Esther R. Gonzalez; and her brothers, Refugio Gonzalez and David Gonzalez.
She is survived by: her children, Silvia Margarita Gonzalez, Patricia Gonzalez, Evelia Gonzalez, Mauricio Salazar (Lupita), Noe Omar Salazar, Nidia Crespo (Luis) and Daniel Salazar; her sisters, Lydia, Ethel Owen and Noemi Azucena Olazaran; and her grandchildren, Gabriela P. Brown, Francisco Niño (Sandra), Sara Priscilla Hyde (Joshua), Eduardo Aquino, Noe Omar Salazar Jr., Oscar R. Salazar, Stephanie Salazar, Luis Alejandro Crespo, Mauricio Salazar, Jessica Alejandra Salazar, Emmanuel M. Salazar, Cristian Crespo and Angel Salazar. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 4:30 PM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace. A prayer was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the El Buen Pastor Iglesia Metodista (435 Boca Chica Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78520). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
