He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Castillo Vallejo and Enriqueta De Leon Vallejo; and his siblings, Juan Vallejo (Valentina), Pablo Vallejo (Hortencia), Cruz Vallejo, Jose A. Sierra (Guadalupe) and Manuel Vallejo Jr. (Maria).
He is survived by: his wife Ana Maria Saldaña; his children, Maria E. Cantu (Hugo), Santa V. Garcia (Francisco), Gabriel Vallejo (Isabel), Jorge M. Vallejo (Rosie), Santos Vallejo, Jr. and Lily Vallejo (Ruben); his stepchildren, Nelida S. Rodriguez, Marco A. Rodriguez and Bryan Vasquez; and his siblings, Ruben Vallejo, David Vallejo (Lupita), Victoria (Felix), Maria (Jesus), Francisca (Jose), Esther (Geronimo) and Ignacia (Ruben). He is also survived by his 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grand children.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Memorial Funeral Home (1025 E Jackson St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A prayer was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
