With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ryan Blake Becerra (Brownsville, Texas), born in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Ryan Blake departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ryan Blake may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ryan Blake leaves behind.

He is survived by: his daughter Freyja Gentry Amador-Becerra; his father Jose Luis "Joe" Becerra; his siblings, Jose Luis Dylan Becerra, Kaylan Denise Becerra and Megan Nichole Becerra; his grandparents, Francisco Becerra, Roy Leon Gentry and Sandee Diane Gentry; and his aunt Sharmon Dylnn Hand. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Darling-Mouser Funeral Home - West Chapel (945 Palm Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78520). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
