He was predeceased by: his parents, Fortunato Arroyo Jr. and Cruz Arroyo; and his sister Blanca Estella Trice. He is survived by: his spouse Thomas C. Tunney; and his brothers, Eduardo Arroyo (Elena) and Mario Arroyo (Sofia). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2405 E Tyler St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
