He was predeceased by: his parents, Faustino Barrios and Eugenia Garcia; and his wife Maria Barrios. He is survived by: his children, Elvira Barrios (Rubi), Samantha Salazar (Fabian), Hilario Gonzalez III and Jose of Jesus Villarreal; and his grandchildren, Aria Rodriguez, Emery Rodriguez, Ileana Salazar and Fabian Salazar, Jr..
