He is survived by: his wife Bertha De León; his children, Patricia I. De León (Joe R. Barbee), Maria Isabel De León (Jorge Mata) and Juan Jose De León; his siblings, Miguel De León and Carolina De León Diaz; his grandchildren, Sergio Mata, Jorge E. Mata, Myrella E. Diaz (Donovan Alec Ramos) and Vincent Guitron; and his great grandchild Giovanni Alec Ramos.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels. A rosary was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
