She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ramon T. Cavazos and Margarita Villarreal Cavazos; her husband Ed Sikes; her children, Eddie Sikes (Erika) and Laura Sikes; her grandchildren, Alexandria, Benjamin and Katherine Sikes; her siblings, Lionel Cavazos, Humberto Cavazos (Christina) and Mary Ann Cavazos Carrillo (ConradV); her sister-in-law Sue Vasquez (Jose); and her extended family, Nelson and Carla Permenter. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew.
A rosary was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
