She was predeceased by: her husband Felicitos Cantu. She is survived by: her children, Marianela Bennett (Peter) of Los Santos, Norma Shearin (Robert), Felicitos Cantu Jr. (Zaidi), Cesario M. Cantu (Mary), Mary Lou Izaguirre (Guadalupe) and Esmeralda Cantu (Marlo). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
