For Maria Graciela is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her father Raul Hernandez; her stepdaughter Olga Zuniga; and her brother Eduardo Hernandez (Billy). She is survived by: her mother Victoria Hernandez; her children, Lorena Olivarez (Jose), Victoria Lowe (James), Juan Raul Zuniga (Rosemary) and Julio Cesar Lara (America); her stepson Roberto Zuniga; and her siblings, Raul Hernandez Jr. (Liz), Magoo Hernandez (Janie) and Natalia Zapata (Richard). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
