He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis E. Garcia and Basilia Espinoza; his sister Petra Garcia; and his stepson Albert Munoz. He is survived by: his wife Maria Rodriguez (Francis); his sons, Luis Garcia III (Carla) and Steve Garcia; his stepchildren, Danny Munoz and Jessica Atkinson (Frank); and his siblings, Laura Garcia, Leticia Garcia, Alicia Garcia, Lydia Garcia and Ricardo Garcia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Trevino Funeral Home (1355 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
