With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lidia Sandoval of Brownsville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Guadalupe Sandoval; her parents, Teodoro Salinas and Romana Salinas; her siblings, Jesus Salinas, Teodoro Salinas, Ignacio Salinas, Carlos Salinas, Rogelio Salinas, Sara Menchaca, Espectacion Salinas, Margarita Lugo and Genoveva Marroquin; her stepson Alejandro Sandoval; and her grandson Christian Sandoval.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rosa Salinas and Elida Garcia; her children, Pablo Sandoval, Dalia Hessert, Reyna Valdez, Elena Garza, Olivia Gonzalez, Rosa Sandoval, Tomasa Sandoval, Alicia Gonzalez, Guadalupe Sandoval Jr., Jose Luis Sandoval, Irma Parra and Silvia Donis; her grandchildren, Guadalupe Mireles Jr., Jesus S. Mireles, Valerie Ramirez, Stephanie Ledezma, Samantha Valdez, Jaydy Valdez, Christopher Sandoval and Blanca Sandoval; and her great grandchildren, Guadalupe Mireles III, Alessandra Ramirez, Leilany Mireles, Jesus Emiliano Mireles, Nailah Ramirez and Graciela Ledezma.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista & Buena Vista Burial Park (125 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Angels (125 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
