He is survived by: his wife Araceli Vigil of Mendoza; his daughters, Linda Araceli and Alina Mendoza Vigil; his grandchildren, Giovanna, Daniela, Jose Alfredo, Fernanda, Angel Miguel and Sergio; and his siblings, Rosalio, Guadalupe and Isabel Mendoza Caballero.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home. A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Guillen Community Cemetery (9055 Boca Chica Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
