He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Agapito, Olympia Perez and Juan Francisco Flores; his uncles, Guadalupe Flores, Reynaldo Flores, Samuel Perez and Elias Perez; and his cousin Angelique Rosette.
He is survived by: his parents, Sylvia Perez and Jorge Luis Perez; his siblings, Michelle Perez, Georgina Sosa (Juan Manuel), Alexandra Smedegard (Arnoldo) and Albert Vera III; his grandmother Amparo G. Flores; and his nieces and nephews, Rogelio Sosa, Scarlett Sosa, Nickalaj Smedegard and Zackery Smedegard.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A rosary was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
