He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cantu Garcia; his children, Michael Richard Garcia and Cassandra Lynn Garcia-Lozano (Omar); his grandchildren, Oliver and River; his siblings, Virginia "Tata" Garcia-Cano and Omar R. Garcia; his uncle Marco A. Garcia; and his nieces and nephews, Elisa Cano Salinas (John), Gisela Cano Casanova (Ken), Cynthia Garcia (Edgar) and Nem Garcia.
