He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Rodriguez and Concepcion Rodriguez; and his sisters, Delma Rykhus and Petra Rojas. He is survived by: his wife Griselda Shears Rodriguez; his son Francisco Roberto Rodriguez; his daughter-in-law Amie Gahan; and his sisters, Graciela Lopez, Alicia Moody (Joe Bob), Aurora Chavez, Telma Verdugo (Jaime), Carmen Escalante (Trinidad) and Angelica Arguijo (Joe). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace. A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe (1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
