Eva Mendez Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2024, at the age of 89, Eva Mendez (Brownsville, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Eva may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eva touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joe Mendez, Adam Mendez, Frances Mendez, Clara Avendaño and Luis Mendez; and her sisters, Sara Ponce and Juanita Cantu. She was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren.
