She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas Esparza and Gregoria Esparza; and her siblings, Juanita Esparza, Yolanda Cuellar, Antonio Esparza, Nicolas Esparza Jr. and Reynaldo Esparza.

She is survived by: her children, Esmeralda Delgado (Danny) and Juan M. Esparza (Bel Zuniga); and her siblings, Maria Inez Guajardo, Elena Borjas, Gregoria Alaniz and Francisco Esparza.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Garza Memorial Funeral Home (1025 E Jackson St, Brownsville, TX 78520). A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
