She was predeceased by: her husband Guadalupe Garcia; and her daughter Sandra Ochoa. She is survived by: her children, Guadalupe Garcia Jr., Cesar Garcia, Maria Garcia and Carlos Garcia; and her siblings, Juan Fuentes and Maria Guadalupe Fuentes Mendez.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels. A Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Eugene (5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, TX 78521). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buena Vista Burial Park (5 Mc Davitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521).
