She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Maria Gonzalez and Aurora Garcia; and her son Leandro Puente. She is survived by: her children, Lidia Puente, Mario Rene Puente, Linda Lee Puente, Eliud Puente, Diana Martinez Gonzalez, Eunice Martinez of Lara, Hiram Martinez Gonzalez, Judith Martinez Gonzalez, Homero Martinez Gonzalez and Janette Martinez Gonzalez; and her siblings, Herminia, David, Esthella, Ana and Elida. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
