It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen C. Gonzalez in Brownsville, Texas, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Israel "Tony" Gonzalez; and her siblings, Cecilia Rivera, Evangelina Carlo, Socorro Lopez and Felipe Carlo.

She is survived by: her children, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Jorge A. Carlo, Adrian E. Carlo, Humberto I. Gonzalez and Jose L. Gonzalez; and her siblings, Dora De La Rosa and Atilano De La Rosa.
