He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Davis and Annie Mae Day Davis; his wife Jeanette Roberson Davis; and his siblings, Charlie Davis, Mary Jane McClendon and Martha Ann Sellers.

He is survived by: his daughter Annette Smith (Roy); his grandchildren, Adam Smith, Robert Smith, Rachel Baker, Jeff Davis, Whitney Davis and Krystal Davis; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Ethan, Addelynn, Reagan, Rooster, Selene, Ryliegh, Charlotte, Colton, Barrett and Dean. He is also survived by his family and friends.
