We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, at the age of 89, John Leonard Lansdale of Brownsboro, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcee Bee "Buddy" Lansdale and O'Reta Faye Lansdale. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother Joe R. Lansdale (Karen) of Nacogdoches; his children, Randy Lansdale (Joyce) of Leesville, Jackie Daily (Rick) of Brownsboro, Pamela Dunklin (Scott) of Tyler and Meleaha Morton (Craig) of Flint; his grandchildren, Justin Lansdale (Leigh), Josh Lansdale (Nikki), Jimmi Byrd, Jammi Medley (Jeremy), Ricky Daily (Amy), Ashlee Hazelbaker (Mark), Mason Martin, Malloree Thornton (John) and Drew Dunklin (Leah); his niece Kasey Lansdale (Jonathan Levit); and his nephew Keith Lansdale.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home (205 Broad St, Chandler, TX 75758). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Chandler Memorial Cemetery (620 Old Tyler Rd, Chandler, TX 75758).
