We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2021, at the age of 67, James Robert Nokes of Brownsboro, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lee Palasota; his brothers, Tommy and Melvin Cantrell; and his father Robert E. Nokes. He is survived by: his wife Pam Nokes of Brownsboro; his children, Rodney Hoon (Marnie) of Millersville, MD and Rebecca Pertain of Brownsboro; his grandsons, Bryce Hoon, Sean Pertain and Ethan Pertain; his stepfather Jack Palasota; and his sisters, Stella Marshall of Greenville, SC, Pam Myrick and Mary Joyce Richards of Mississippi.
