She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Compton and James Compton; her husband Melvin Fain Ferguson; her sons, Marshall Wilson and Mitchelle Ferguson; and her great grandchild Aubreigh Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Wright (Howard) of Chandler, Brenda Hill (Ronnie) of White Oak, Ronda Whitlock (Clyde) of Winona, Amanda Ellis (Bill) of Chandler, Jan Speer (David) of Athens, Vickie LeMaster of Heath and Richard Wilson of Brownsboro; and her siblings, Shirley Clakley of Brownsboro, Rev. William Compton (Margaret) of Brownsboro, Jerry Don Compton (Brenda) of Brownsboro and James 'Buddy Compton (Shirley) of Bullard. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
