He was predeceased by: his parents, A. F. Cole and Alvana Hooper Cole; his daughter Colena Rose Cole Wheeler; his granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Lawler; his great grandchild Charles Eli Wheeler; and his brothers, James Cole and Maxwell Buddy Cole.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Sue Hopson Cole; his daughters, Jinnifer Cole Pauley (Ben), Melinda Cole McGuffey (Rufus) and Christy Lawler; his brother Durwin Cole; and his sisters-in-law, Marvene Lewis, Judy Hopson and Jonnie Hopson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
