He was predeceased by: his father James Wood Tompkins. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Jane Tompkins (Moon) of Brownsboro; his wife Vickie Tompkins of Tyler; his children, Blake Tompkins (Jessica) of Springtown, James Tompkins (Lakena) of Chandler, Allyson Chatman of Palestine, Michelle Oliver (Robert) of Tyler and Stephanie Coats (Jody) of Poynor; his sister Stacy Berry (Roger) of Brownsboro; and his grandchildren, Sovy Tompkins, Summer Tompkins, Xy'amani Powell, Macessa Key, Makayla Key, Izabella Oliver, Layla Coats, Dakota Coats, Elizabeth Coats and Trinity Coats.
