He was predeceased by: his father Ira Wilburn Bailey Sr. (Patsy Laverne Bailey). He is survived by: his wife Patsy Laverne Lasiter; his siblings, Joann Attaway and Bob Bailey (Kay); his daughters, Stephanie Allen (Justin) of Lott, Tammie Cozart (Rocky) of Cisco and Patricia Medlock of Hernando; and his grandchildren, Shad Glover (Susan) of Lubbock, Kacey Iglesias (David) of Lubbock, Jason Hamm (Mindy) of Midland, Logan Hamm (Kenna) of Dripping Springs, McKinsey Cozart of Plano Tx, Shelby Gibson of Granbury, Amanda Phillips (Craig) of Martindale, Kelsey Newman (Dan) of Austin, Bailey Brown (Brady) of San Antonio and Winn Medlock of New York, NY.. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
