She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her son Alton C. Rains; and her siblings, Mildred Crecelius and Bobby Dan Griffin. She is survived by: her husband Violetta; her son Ronnie Rains (Francy) of Brownfield; her grandchildren, Scotty Rains (Chesle) of Plains, Steven Bunch (Candace) of Plains, Beau Rains (Lachrisa) of Tokio, Sherry Nock of Midland and Carly Goheen (Jeremy) of Lubbock; her siblings, Billy Gene Griffin and JoAnn Griffin Jackson; and her sister-in-law Lois Sherrill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
