He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Hales and Mabel Hales; and his former wife Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Freda Price of Brownfield; his children, Melissa Hope (Jimmy) of Brownfield, Angela Perez (Pete) of Brownfield, Kim Benavidez (Pete) of Brownfield and Chris Moore (Angie) of Lubbock; and his grandchildren, Josh Hope (Andrea) of Lubbock, TX, Brittney Jimenez (Michael, Jr) of Brownfield, Kortney Valdez (Rocky) of Lubbock, Aaron Moore (Anna) of Brownfield, Tessa Howard (Dillon) of Brownfield, Kaylee Hales (Angel) of Brownfield, AmBree Moore of Lubbock, Jarred, Josh Gibson of Lubbock, Katie and Brian Benavidez of Brownfield. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
