She is survived by: her parent Isabel Contreras; her husband Alfred Mendez of Hobbs, NM; her daughters, Leticia Castro (Jimmi) of Plainview and Daniella Hughes (Christopher) of Austin; her grandchildren, Emeli, Madison and Katie Castro; and her siblings, Rita Contreras, James Contreras, Raquel Lozano, Mario Contreras and Alex Contreras. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
