She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfo Cruz and Evangelina Cruz; her sister Barbara Cruz; and her son Marcus Anthony Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Michael Martinez of Brownfield, Jose Jr. (Martinez), Eric Martinez (Teri) of Brownfield and Meagan Ward (Aaron) of Hobbs; her grandchildren, Bayli Martinez, Kambri Martinez, Abriel Martinez, Mason Ward, Gia Calderon, Brexley Martinez, Avery Martinez and Eric Martinez Jr. Susie; and her sisters, Virginia Warren, Becky Elizardo (Ernesto), Patricia Cruz, Angie Cruz, Annette Cruz, Rachel Cruz and Eva Cruz.
