With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Bray (Brownfield, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Susie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her mother Earnestine Madding; and her brother Kenneth Madding. She is survived by: her husband Dan Bray; her children, Kirk Bray, Callie Allen, Kyle Bray and Amanda; her grandsons, Connor and Luke Bray; her father Aubrey Earl Madding; and her sisters, Carolyn Nelson (Wayne) and Arlene Mears (Bob).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brownfield Church of Christ (502 Lubbock Rd, Brownfield, TX 79316).
