He was predeceased by : his father Sammy Cox. He is survived by : his mother Dean Cox; his children, Blake, Ty (Arissa Klumker) and Faith (Michael Madrigal); his siblings, David Cox (Debbie) and Amanda Ryan (John); and his nieces and nephews, Aaron Cox, Darbie Beaver (Zack), Ashton Ryan and Braylee Ryan.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brownfield Church of Christ (502 Lubbock Rd, Brownfield, TX 79316).
