He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Alvarado and Maria Alvarado; his son Juan Carlos Sanchez; and his brothers, Israel Alvarado, Sr. and Joel Alvarado.
He is survived by: his wife Esmeralda Sanchez; and his children, Teresa Sanchez and Michael Sanchez (Jessica). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
