She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Vela and Juanita Vela; and her son Robert Villalpando, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roberto Villalpando; and her children, Ruben (Ralynn), Fidel (Stephanie) and Matilde (Ignacio). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (1902 Levelland Hwy, Brownfield, TX 79316).
