He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Sr. Silva and Herminia Silva; his son Benito Silva; and his siblings, Mariano, Baltazar, Pedro Jr., Roberto, Lupe and Amalia Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Silva of Brownfield; and his children, Jose Silva Jr. (Estella) of Brownfield, Cynthia Mendoza (Manuel) of Brownfield, Johnny Silva (Vickie) of Brownfield, Letty Stringham (Jeff) of Gilbert, AZ, Jimmy Silva (Krissy) of Brownfield and Crystal Gonzalez (Miguel) of Brownfield. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and another great grandchild.
