It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Mesquias of Brownfield, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonifacio Grimaldo and Estefana Grimaldo; her husband Jose Roberto Mesquias, Sr.; her children, Irmalinda Mesquias, Robert and Jesse Mesquias; and her granddaughter Stephanie Sanchez.
She is survived by: her children, Guadalupe Martinez (Jesse) of Brownfield, Esperanza Torres of Brownfield, Virginia Mendoza (Alfonso) of Ozona, Pedro Mesquias (Mary Ellen) of Lubbock, Cecilia Salazar (Danny) of Levelland and George Mesquias (Gena) of Levelland; and her daughter-in-law Rita Mesquias of Lubbock. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
