Dane Clare Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, at the age of 76, Dane Clare (Brownfield, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clare Sr. and Nina Wells Clare; his siblings, John Brit Clare, Emily Darlene Charters, Nita Faye Martin and Wanda Lee Clare; and his nieces and nephews, Brit Todd Clare, John Lee Clare, Kimberly Marie Clare and Cynthia Leann Day.
He is survived by: his wife Reta Clare; his children, Gary Shane Clare, Patty Dawn Clare, Marty Lance Clare, Nickie Jo Clare, Dedra Skipworth and Roger Wheeler; his grandson David Wassom; and his sister Jerry Dean Day. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Brownfield First Christian Church (1501 Tahoka Rd, Brownfield, TX 79316).
