He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Luera and Ambrosia Luera (Perez); his sons, Alvino Luera, Jr. and Ricky Luera; and his brother Victor Luera.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Luera; his children, Sandra Villarreal, Arcelia Nerios (Ricky) and Jessie Luera (Amber); and his siblings, Abelino Luera, Porfiria Hernandez (Fidel), Paula Rios and Maggie Perez. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the House of Angels Funeral Home - Brownfield (1211 Lubbock Rd, Brownfield, TX 79316). A prayer was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Templo Betel (905 S 5th St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Brownfield Cemetery.
