With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Aline Prather (Brownfield, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Aline left this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Aline shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Aline farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. V. "Doc" Hughes and Eula Mae Garner Hughes; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her sister Bobbie Jean Hughes Baldridge; her daughters, Teresa Lynn Simmons (Ted) and Dana Lynn Prather; her granddaughters, Sarah Ashley Clark and Teddra Kinsey; and her great grandchildren, Kaulin, Kalton, Jaxxen and Kanyen Kinsey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brownfield Funeral Home (120 W Tate St, Brownfield, TX 79316). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (219 W Main St, Brownfield, TX 79316).
